Since living in Guernsey Linda has undertaken a diverse range of projects from designing and making wedding dresses, graphic illustration and painting to interior design. During her years at the Guernsey Pottery as head decorator and designer, Linda explored her passion for flowers working with the Italian Majolica glazing technique. Painting from her attic studio, Linda’s techniques include the use of car and enamel sprays, acrylic paints, pastels and crayons. A variety of inks and metallic inks are used in her illustrations and paintings, and she also models in clay and fabric to produce wall sculptures.

Linda was educated at the Ulster College of Art and Design / University of Ulster where she gained an Honours in Fashion and Textiles, and also qualified through City and Guilds as a Craft and Clothing Technician whilst studying at the Belfast College of Technology. In her final year at college she was awarded a commendation in the Women’s Fashion Section through the Royal Society of Arts, Industrial Design Bursaries Competition. In addition to majoring in fashion design, Linda is also experienced in textile printing, jewelry and millinery. She has also achieved a BTEC National Award in Art and Design with grade Distinction.
